It's reported by Xinhua News Agency Tianjin on 9th,September that Zhang Guobao, the vice director of National Development and Innovation Committee said the whole development of automobile industry is good but there are still existing three big problems. That was his comment on Chinese Automobile Industry International Forum which was held in Tianjin on 8th, September.
The three big problems are: Automobile over capacity, Automobile parts and components development lag behind, low matching service level.
Zhang Guobao said that both of China automobile production and marketing number exceed 7,200,000 sets in 2006 and China has been an important automobile production and marketing base. However, in fact, the present Chinese automobile capacity has exceeded 10,000,000 sets; this contradiction of over capacity is still accumulating, the investment of automobile industry is still heating up.
The statistics show that during the tenth "Five-Year-Plan", Chinese automobile industry investment in fixed assets was RMB235,160,000,000, exceeding the summation of all the investments before. While the number was RMB150,000,000,000 in 2006, the investment sum is RMB78,900,000,000 in the first half of this year. What's more, Zhang Guobao said that China's automobile service level is low, especially in the service of automobile logistics and relative components, which is still need to be improved further. Developing and improving the related service industry can make the automobile industry chain perfect in the future.
