On January 22, Mr. Liu Yuanjie, President of China General Machine Components Industry Association, and Secretary-General Di Minjie have inspected the CIFC project (China International Industrial Fasteners Exhibition & Purchasing Center). Mr. Cai Kaixiong, General Manager of CIFC, accompanied the guests visited the model of CIFC and the spot Phase I project which is to be completed soon. Mr. Cai also introduced the general issues to the guests in detail, such as management philosophy, market positioning, development of inviting businessmen and attracting capital, project construction schedule and so on.
During the inspection, President Liu Yuanjie stressed that Haiyan, located in Yangtze River Delta where the economy grows the fastest in China, has great traffic advantages compared to other fastener production areas. The fastener industry base of Haiyan is very strong. At present, it has formed a complete industrial chain from the supply of raw materials, fastener production to equipment manufacturing. The fastener industry here has been in the forefront of the domestic industry in the scale of production, quality, application of new technologies and environmental protection, brand building and so on. It established the leading status of CIFC (China International Industrial Fasteners Exhibition & Purchasing Center) in the industry as the establishment of national fastener inspection and testing centre and the stationing of more than 70 domestic top 100 enterprises.
President Liu Yuanjie added that China is the world's largest producer of fasteners; the fastener industry is an important component of China's manufacturing industry. The rapid development of our manufacturing industry has stimulated the development of manufacturing services sector, while manufacturing services industry will drive the rapid growth of manufacturing. CIFC, based on two fastener production areas¡ªHaiyan and Ningbo, provides a very good purchase and logistics services platform for China fastener manufacturers, buyers and traders from home and abroad. It has an accurate market positioning, which will play a significant role in improving and integrating of the fastener industry home and abroad.
Present Liu Yuanjie praised that CIFC has done a good job in inviting overseas businessmen. He also stressed that it still need much efforts in this field.
It's known that more than 700 fastener enterprises all over the country have stationed in the first phase of CIFC currently. In addition, over 20 international purchasers have joined CIFC one after another along with the beginning of inviting overseas businessmen and attracting capital, such as Bakker group from Germany, SUARCOM from Spain, Chinebec from Canada, and so on.
