The International Fastener Exposition (IFE) has merged with the National Industrial Fastener Show scheduled for November 8-10, 2010 at the Mandalay bay Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada USA; it was announced here today by Susan A. Hurley, Show Manager.

 
“The merging of IFE with the National Industrial Fastener Show will provide the largest marketplace in North America for fasteners, machinery, equipment, tooling, materials, testing and technical services and other related products and services for the fastener and precision formed parts industries”, said Raymond P. Zirkle, Jim Bannister and Mike McGuire.

 
“This merger is something we have all thought about for some time because it makes good sense and responds to the need for reducing the number of fastener industry exhibitions. We believe it offers something for the entire industry, all under one roof at the same time. The core exhibition will continue to feature the latest in fasteners and related products and services of interest to distributors, manufacturer’s reps, independent sales reps and others while the machinery, equipment, tooling and other products will be of interest to fastener manufacturers from all over the world, most of whom are already exhibiting with us”, reason Bannister and McGuire. 

 
The International Fastener Machinery & Suppliers Association (IFMSA) has announced its endorsement and support of the expo.

 
Respected industry veterans Ray and Doug Zirkle will be marketing the event to IFMSA member companies as well as other makers of fastener machinery, equipment, tooling and related suppliers worldwide.
