On Dec 19th 2007, the China Standardization Committee held the celebration of its 50th Anniversary and the second session of the 4th Annual conference to review the 50 years history of the committee and view the future. All the committeemen, counselors, corporation representatives attended this celebration.
According to the subject "the 50 year history of China Standardization Committee," leaders of National Development and Reform Commission, State General Administration for Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine, China Standardization Administration Committee and China Machinery Industry League gave wonderful speeches.
Mr. Li weirong, the director of China Standardization Committee, gave the speech "Review the 50 years history of the committee". Mr. Qu xianming, the vice-director of Machinery Science Researching Center, gave the speech "Opportunities and solutions for the development of components industry". Mr. Feng jinyao, the president of Chinese Fastener Association, gave the speech "the present situation and future trend of fastener industry". Mr. Liu yuanjie, the president of China General Machine Components Association, analyzed the government's supporting to fastener industry.
Meanwhile, the committee commended those who make contributions to China Standardization Committee, and awarded the metallic certification named identification mark of fastener manufacturer to some of the corporation representatives.
In the following two days, the summing-up conference of China Standardization Committee' work 2006-2007 would be held, at that time, the committee would check the national standard, revise the standard system. The conference would be end on Dec 21.
