2010 Summit Conference for all fastener Association Chairmen in China is held in Shanghai in 17th, Sep. It is organized by China Fastener Industry Association (CFIA), with the attendance of Chairmen from Zhejiang Industrial Fastener Institute, Jiaxing Fastener import & export enterprise association, Guangdong Fastener Industry Association, Ningbo Fastener Association, Wenzhou Fastener Industry Association, Chongqing Fastener Association, Yongnian Standard Part Association, Xingtai Fastener Association and etc.www.chinafastener.com, as the appointed media, takes part in this conference.
The conference is hosted by Mr. Wang Shihong, Secretary of CFIA. Mr. Yu, Chief of Association Secretary Section presents the daft for “the 12th Five-Year developing plan in Chinese fastener industry”.China enters into the 12th five-year developing plan during 2010 to 2014, different industries in China try their best to make a full plan for the next 5 years. According to the request of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, CFIA is in charge of drafting the 12th five-year developing plan for China fastener industry. CFIA summarizes Chinese fastener industry development status for the past five years and bring forward the development plan for the next five years. The draft still needs to be modified. All presented Chairmen are requested to summit idea after the conference.”
At the same time, Mr. Feng Jinyao, President to CFIA gives a report on “2009 fastener industry development” and “the plan for fastener industry in the second half year of 2010” Mr. Feng introduces: “Facing global financial crisis in 2009, with a series of government stimulating polices, Chinese fastener enterprise takes great efforts to adjust industrial structure and expand domestic market to make up the lost in the export market. A great decline in fastener production was avoided, only with 5.36% decline from 2008 to 2009. At the same time, Confronting international trade protectionism and unfair trade protection measures, Chinese enterprises respond actively and achieved some positive results. Although facing with raw material price increases & volatility and further intensified competition in the first half year of 2010, on the whole, thanks to decline of repeated blind investment and manufacture restructuring, there had been some recovery in exports and domestic demand still remain strong. Driven by these factors, the whole industry develops stably. In the first half year of 2010, the output volume of fastener increases 10% year on year.
Mr. Feng also points out that Chinese fastener industry is in a stage of steady development at present. We should strive to enhance corporate strength, improve product quality and services, enhance the international competitiveness, accelerate new product development and product transition, and strengthen major research projects and equipment. Mr. Feng also highly appraise 2010 Fastener Expo Shanghai have hope 2011 Fastener Expo Shanghai will be a great success and create wonderful platform for fastener industry.
