The organisers of Ferroforma-Bricoforma are leading a promotional campaign for the 2011 edition. This intensive marketing campaign seeks to gain professionals with great purchasing power, considered as a "strategic" profile.
Therefore, the event organisers have recently travelled to Colombia and Brazil to promote the brand in these countries and to establish new relationships between the event's visiting industries, focusing on importers and shopping platforms, of DIY and construction materials. Both countries are comprised in the list of this campaign's priority markets that also includes Eastern Europe, the Maghreb and the Middle East.
The reception of the different meetings and interviews held throughout the trip has been very positive in Bogotá and Sao Paulo. Moreover, the organising committee of Ferroforma-Bricoforma has had the support of the Spanish-Colombian Chamber of Commerce and the SPRI (Basque Development Agency) delegation in Brazil, respectively.
While "new" companies unaware of this event have especially valued the potential deriving from this trade fair and the strong industry supporting it, the usual participants of Ferroforma-Bricoforma have highlighted the relevance of its worldwide scope and its condition as a benchmark for Latin America. In fact, Latin America is the third most important region of origin of the participants of the International Hardware and DIY Fair organised by the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.
Moreover, in the last trade mission several Colombian and Brazilian associations and companies have been offered the chance to coordinate delegations, an initiative that has been warmly welcomed. This programme is one of the key elements of the visitors' campaign. Ferroforma-Bricoforma attracts purchasers from all around the world; in particular, in the 2009 edition professional visitors from 36 different countries visited the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.
In the upcoming months, the coordinators of the visitors' area will visit Mexico, Argentina, Poland and Russia within a plan that will also include direct marketing activities in Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain.
On a domestic level, a total of 15 Ferroforma agents work visiting about 5,000 hardware stores, DIY centres and industrial supply warehouses. Meanwhile BEC is entering into collaboration agreements with procurement offices and industrial associations, a quite successful action line in previous editions of the Fair.
Ferroforma-Bricoforma will be held at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre from 23 to 26 March 2011
