ChinaFastener Magazine Start Visiting Campaign in Haiyan

Haiyan is a high concentration base of fasteners production and export in China, whose export value increased by 28.9% in the first quarter of 2011 as compared with the same period of 2010. In order to further learn the advantages and export situation of Haiyan fastener companies and promote fastener industry development of Haiyan, ChinaFastener Magazine started a visit campaign in Haiyan to interview excellent fastener companies.

Zhejiang Fastener Industry Association rolled out the red carpet for ChinaFastener Magazine and introduced Haiyan’s April import & export situation in details. The total import & export value of Haiyan in April is 149.07 million USD, up 39.7% as compared to the same period of 2010, of which export value increase by 31.2 up to 121.76 million USD.

This visiting activity lasted for three days from June 9th to 11th, 2011. Focusing on the hot topics of international antidumping and anti-subsidy ruling on fasteners, the demand of fasteners for  Japan post-disaster reconstruction, and the power shortage in the summer of China, Chinafastener Magazine visit more than 13 enterprises, which includes Zhejiang Qifeng Hardware Make Co., Ltd, Haiyan Chnstar Industrial Co., Ltd, Haiyan Guangda Fasteners Co., Ltd, Jiaxing Rhineland Import & Export Co., Ltd, Heaven & Earth Hardware Products Factory, Haiyan Yuanyang Standard Piece Co., Ltd, Haiyan Zhaofeng Fasteners Co., Ltd, Haiyan Hengye Fasteners Co., Ltd, Haiyan Huilian General Fitting Co., Ltd, Haiyan Mengshi Screw Co., Ltd, Haiyan Fujian Fastener Co., Ltd, Haiyan Jindu Hardware Co., Ltd, and Haiyan Feiyu Fasteners Factory.

“Everything has two sides. It is no doubt that antidumping duty will hinder enterprise’s fastener export; however, on the other hand, this will force enterprises to manufacture high quality fasteners, which leads to enterprise transformation”, said Mr. Yu Yunfei, vice general manager of Haiyan Chnstar Industrial Co., Ltd while taking about international antidumping and anti-subsidy ruling on fasteners.

“We are being affected by the international antidumping duty, but we still succeed in acquiring orders from Europe. Clients from Spain keep ordering washers and nuts to match his products; Clients from Russia will visit Guangda’s factory and talk business in recent. Only under the situation of owning advanced equipments, sophisticated technology and good raw materials could excellent fasteners be produced”, said Mr. Lai Xiaodi, general manager of Haiyan Guangda Fasteners Co., Ltd.

“I always keep optimistic attitude when confronted inflation and the power shortage in summer; the present situation of inflation and power shortage will optimize enterprises and spare more social resource like labor force to strengthen powerful enterprises, and this is a kind of progress for our country to some extend”, said Mr. Ying Shuijun, general manger of Haiyan Yuanyang Standard Piece Co., Ltd,
