Active Rockfall Barrier System Tecco Mesh or Steel Wire Rope Net

Active rockfall barrier system refers to various types of rockfall barriers are installed and fastened to the mountains or slopes. Compared with passive rockfall barrier system, which is installed beside the roads, the active rockfall barrier system is covering the mountains and prevent the stones and soils from falling down. It is mainly used for preventing.
Common types of active rockfall barrier are galvanized wire rope net, PVC coated wire rope net, tecco mesh, spider spiral rope mesh and hexagonal wire mesh.
Galvanized wire rope net. It is made of hot dipped galvanized steel wire rope, chain link meshes and other rockfall barrier accessories. It is the most commonly used type of active rockfall barriers. The hot dipped galvanized surface treatment supplies excellent corrosion and rust resistance performance for durable and long service life.
PVC coated wire rope net. It has the same function with the galvanized wire rope net. But the PVC coating, which can be green or transparent can supply further corrosion and rust resistance. Additional, it can blend with surrounding environments and decorate the mountains or slopes.
Tecco mesh. Tecco mesh is made of high carbon steel wires, which has high tensile strength and loading capacity. Though it is single layer structure, it can play the same roles with galvanized wire rope net. The knotted end structure make it more durable in the applications.
Spider spiral rope mesh system. It is double layer structure of rockfall barrier system, which including the spider spiral rope mesh and chain link mesh. The spider spiral rope mesh is made of three strands of high carbon steel wires, which supplies high strength for the rockfall barrier system.
Hexagonal wire mesh. Hexagonal wire mesh is made of hot dipped galvanized wire, it is widely used in the mountains to protect the mountains. Additional, the hexagonal wire mesh can be sued for earth spraying to let plants growing between the gaps for environmental protection.
