Chipboard screws, type 17 point, designed for cabinet work, counters, furniture, particle board & sub floor applications. 4 nib under the head to prevent spinout and to self counter-sink for a flush installation.
Type 17 cutting point: A thread cutting screw for wood with a coarse tapping screw thread and a special long sharp point fluted to capture chips. Type 17 points can also be on Hi-Lo, deep root, deck screws and partical board screws, designed for the manufacturing of face frames on cabinetry. Smooth shank for a tight fit and a Type 17 point eliminates pre-drilling.
