Han-Steel Announced in recent that it had succeed in smelting a kind of variety steel ML35. During the smelting and pouring process, craftsmanship got stable controlled and the surface of casting blank reached quality requirements.

Steel ML35 is a kind of medium carbon steel and cold heading steel, owing the characteristics of good toughness and not easy to crack during forging. It is mainly applied in the production of standard parts like nuts, screws, rivets, self-tapping screws etc. and fasteners as well as cold-forged components.

It is learned that Han-Steel has developed 35 kinds of new steel products in total from Jan. to Aug. 2011. These new products can reach a capacity of 1.7 million tons. In the meantime, Han-Steel further decreased the production technology cost of varieties steel, who optimized varieties steel of 3.1 million tons in the first eight months of this year and lowered cost of RMB ￥ 19.58 million Yuan.
