2012 Fastener Fair Brazil was grandly held on Nov. 21st to 22nd, 2012 in Expo Center Norte, San Paulo, Brazil. This was the second time for the organizer Mack Brooks to hold this event after its first successful holding in 2011.

ChinaFastener Magazine, the official appointed media of China Fastener Industry Association, headed for San Paulo to learn the current situation of international fastener industry. It recommended excellent fastener suppliers to local purchasers and received a great popularity from them. 

It was learn that Brazil was an emerging international market worth for China’s fastener enterprises to explore. As the host for the World Cup in 2014 and the Olympic Games in 2016, Brazil is making massive infrastructure investments in preparation for these two worldwide events. The Brazilian government has several construction projects related to these events and all of them are being geared for Brazil to be able to offer all necessary facilities and excellent conditions. Brazil’s economy is expanding quickly due to rapid development and large scale investments in infrastructure as well as marked increase in domestic demand.

According to the latest statistics of Foreign Trade Secretary of Brazil, China has been Brazil’s largest trade cooperative partner, largest export market, and second largest import country since 2010.

In the mean time, Fastener Fair Brazil was the unique professional fastener exhibition in local, which would attract most of local purchasers to visit.

Taking above elements into consideration, there were about 50 Chinese companies exhibiting in Fastener Fair Brazil, which accounted for 30% of the totals. Besides, there were about 36 exhibitors from Taiwan showcasing in this fair.
