China's auto parts industry base (Baoding) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the first period project of JUWEI automotive electronic and electrical items in Qingyuan Economic Development Zone, marking Baoding auto parts industry clusters officially launched construction, which would cost 10 billion Yuan and cover an area of 3,000 acres. It was forecasted that this project could achieve annual sale revenue of 5 billion Yuan and provide 8,000 jobs after construction and put into operation.
It was learned that China's auto parts industry base (Baoding) project was one of the major projects of the provincial government to promote one hundred central enterprises into Hebei. It was a comprehensive project with dominant production of auto parts, covering research and development, production, testing, marketing, logistics, and living support. It was planned to invest 10 billion Yuan and cover an area of 3,000 acres, forming an auto parts industry cluster with output value of 20 billion Yuan.
After groundbreaking ceremony, Qingyuan County and Chinese Auto Parts Company signed the cooperation agreement of China's Auto Parts Industry Base (Baoding) Development Strategy & Planning as well as the license agreement on the use of trademark and intangible assets.
