Fastenal November Sales Up 3.1%

Fastenal Company released the numbers for their November sales month, noting that net sales rose 3.1% year over year.
Net sales in November of 2013 were $261,269 (Dollar amounts in thousands), up from $253,493 in the same month of 2012. The daily sales were $13,063, up 8.2% from $12,071 in 2012.
Commentary on sales growth and end markets:
End market (daily sales change) - During the month, manufacturing customers grew 8.7% and non-residential construction customers grew 4.4%
Sales growth - The change in currencies in foreign countries (primarily Canada) relative to the United States dollar reduced our daily sales growth rate by 0.4% during the month.
Fastenal has opened 47 stores in 2013. The company now has 2,689 in operation.
