Boeing (NYSE:BA) received an order for 82 airplanes from Singapore-based leasing firm BOC Aviation to the tune of $8.8 billion at list prices.

The largest order in BOC Aviation history, it includes 50 737 MAX 8s, 30 Next Generation 737-800s and two 777-300 ERs for delivery between 2016 and 2021, said BOC in a press release.

"BOC Aviation has established a proven track record in the airplane leasing industry," said Dinesh Keskar, Boeing SVP of Asia Pacific and India Sales, in a release.

"They have played an important role in the success of the Next-Generation 737 and the 777-300ER in the leasing market by helping place the airplanes with airlines worldwide."

BOC Aviation has one of the youngest fleets in the industry.
