This year, the economic operation of machinery industry is facing biggish difficulties, hitting a new record low on the growth speed of major economic indicators since global economic crisis. The steady growth of machinery industry is undergoing a great threat.

Based on the performance report of the machinery industry released by China Machinery Industry Association (CMIF), the industrial value added from January to June grew by 5.7% over the same period of last year. Such an exponent was 0.6-percentage point lowering than the growth of nationwide industry in the corresponding period and 5.5-percentage points less than the growth of machinery industry during the same period of last year.

With the gradual implementation of macroeconomic policies, the machinery industry will welcome its spring days of growth again.
