Recently, Beijing Benz Automotive Company has put on file in the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (AQSIQ), deciding to recall a total number of 1105 Benz GLA 2015 produced during June 1 to June 14, 2015, in Mainland China since September 1.

Imperfect bolts during the manufacturing were the reason that caused the recall. It was reported that the tightening torque of these bolts used for power supply connection inside the engine compartment of vehicles might be lower than the specified value. In extreme condition, the imperfect bolts would cause bad connect for the power supply and bring a greater potential of danger when the vehicles were steered with vibration.

Beijing Benz Automotive Company will provide free inspection of these cars and replace the imperfect bolts for the vehicles listed in the recalls. More details regarding this recall can be found on www.dpac.gov.cn.
