On Dec. 8, 2015, based on the statistics released by Customs of China, the total import & export value has reached 2160 Billion CNY in November, 4.5% decreased; among which the export continued the negative growth in 5 successive months.

According to the statistics of the past 11 months of 2015, the import & export value reached 22,080 Billion CNY, 7.8% reduced over the same period in last year, the surplus of trade reached 3340 Billion CNY, 63% increased over the corresponding period in last year.

Deputy Director of Department of Foreign Trade of Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Wang Dongtang indicated to the press that though with reducing increasing rate of import and export, the increasing rate of export of China was higher than the main economic entities and emerging markets in the world. The increasing volume and decreasing value of bulk commodities pared down the increasing rate of import, which was conductive to the cost reduction of enterprises, improvement of national welfare, and the promotion of quality & benefit of import.

The leading indicator of China’s foreign trade in November was 32, 0.8 fell over the exponent in October, indicating the great pressure that China’s export needs to confront with at the beginning of 2016.
