Doncasters Expands Fastener Division to Aerospace Market

Doncasters Group has expanded its Fastener Systems Division to serve the aerospace market. The group now has added a wide range of fasteners, such as nut plates, anchor plates, gang channels, washers, bolts, pins, rivets, brackets, nuts, flange nuts, screws, studs and clips, to its list of manufactured parts for the aerospace industry.
 
Commenting on the extended product range, Eric J Lewis, chief executive officer of Doncasters,said: "Our customers and prospects are looking for suppliers that can provide a very wide range of products and processes. By expanding our Fastener Systems offering to the aerospace market,we will be able to continue to provide high quality parts to ourclients while working to become a true supply-chain integrator,helping OEMs streamline processes and minimise time spent dealingwith multiple suppliers”.
 
He said that Doncasters Fastener Systems sites were currently in talks with a number of aerospace OEMs to develop the product range and obtain all relevant certifications.
 
The Division can supply high strength, performance critical fasteners that can withstand the harsh rigours of demanding operating environments.
 
Lewis concluded: "For many years, Doncasters has been a leader in the aerospace industry. I'm delighted to be able to extend the Group's services to the aerospace industry by introducing our Fastener Systems capability and am confident that the division will prove to be a real success, staying true to our high standards of quality, service, on-time delivery and price".
