According to the Customs statistics, the fastener export volume of Wenzhou comes to 2949 ton in the first quarter of 2010 with 31.8% increase, valued at 6.22 million USD with 29.9% increase year on year. The average export unit price is 2.11 USD per Kilogram, increased by 1.5% year on year.
Since 2010, global economic recovers steadily as expectation. Wenzhou Fastener export also “warm up” steadily. As the establishment of China-ASEAN free trade zone, Wenzhou fastener export volume to ASEAN comes to 516 ton in the first quarter, up 156.2%, accounting for 17.5% of Wenzhou’s total export volume in the same period, making ASEAN the largest export market of Wenzhou.
