Fastener Expo Shanghai 2010 ended with a Great Success

The 2010 Fastener Expo Shanghai & 1st Shanghai Auto Fastener Exhibition, sponsored by China General Machine Components Industry Association and organized by Shanghai Ebseek Exhibition Co., Ltd. (www.chinafastener.com), was successfully held in Shanghai Everbright Exhibition Centre during June 16-18, 2010 and achieved a great success.

“As the first Fastener Expo Shanghai, it was really a great success, attracting 346 exhibitors, with 635 standard booths and exhibition area of 14,000 squire meters. “ Mr. Yangjun Feng, CEO of www.chinafastener.com expressed proudly. The exhibition divides into two floors.: The first floor is about fastener-manufacturing equipments, moulds, wire and technical service technical service, including 95 exhibitors, while the second floor is for fastener products, with 233 exhibitors and 18 relevant media companies.

Thanks to the great efforts of the organizer and its worldwide promotion campaign, the Faster Expo Shanghai 2010 has initially reached the international level. Except for the exhibitors from Chinese Mainland, it also attracts overseas fastener exhibitors, such as 31 from Taiwan, 9 from South Korea, 2 from Japan, 3 from Germany, 2 from United States, 2 from Italy, 2 from India, and 1 from Switzerland, while the number of visitors comes to 9450 (8800 domestic visitors and 650 are overseas visitors), coming from 35 different regions and countries. What worth to mention, Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute and Korea Federation of Fasteners Industry Cooperative have organized exhibitors group, while Hong Kong Screw & Fastener Council, Fastener Manufacturers Association of India and Brazilian Fastener Institute gathers visitors groups for Fastener Expo Shanghai.

Reviewing the history, based on exhibitor number, Fastener Expo Shanghai becomes the biggest professional fastener exhibition in Asia. Many famous fastener enterprises have participated in Fastener Expo Shanghai 2010 with special designed booths, such as BaoSteel, Masteel, Gem-Year Industrial, Tong Ming Enterprise, Shanghai Prime Machinery, Shanghai SQB Automotive Fasteners, Special Rivets Corp, Ningbo Eastport Fastener, Ningbo Jinding Fastening Piece, Yonggang Fasteners, Eagle Metalware, Fasteners Branch Company of Fawer Automotive parts, Autopart Industrial, Shanghai Nutech Fastener, Shanghai Chun Zu Machinery Industry, Jiancai Machinery, Hangzhou Spring Washer, Aozhan Industrial, Zhencheng Machinery, Yeswin Machinery, Shangdong Tengda Stainless Steel, Xingtai Xinxing Fasteners. Particularly, many world-known fastener enterprises have also attended the exhibition, such as Carlo Salvi, National, Nedschroef, Hatebur, Brankamp, Ciffe, Didoo, Hyodong, CPM, SGS, Bralo, Nylok.

One of the special features for the exhibition is highlight speciality. The exhibition area is not only divided in two main sections: one for fastener machinery, fastener moulds and wire, and the other for fastener products, but the products area is also further divided into different session. Firstly, the 1st Shanghai Auto Fastener Exhibition, the theme of this exhibition, is located in the most noticeable place with 96 exhibition booths. Over 60 exhibitors focus on the auto fastener enterprises, such as Shanghai Prime Machinery, Fasteners Branch Company Of Fawer Automotive Parts Co.， Ltd, Sundram Fasteners (Zhejiang) Limited, Autocraft Industrial （Shanghai） Ltd, Hsin Bong Industrial, Tianjin Shankou Metal Products Co.，Shandong Gaoqiang Fastener Co.， Ltd, And Ltd, Ningbo Jinding Fastening Piece Co.，Ltd. It become the first professional auto fastener exhibition held in Mainland China.

Secondly, there are Auto Fastener Exhibition Area, Stainless Steel Fastener Exhibition Area, Hi-strength and Construction Fastener Area, Export-oriented Fastener Expiation Area, so as to make it easy for exhibitors to choose their own area and also convenient for visitors to find the right place in short time.

Thirdly, Taiwan pavilion and Korea pavilion are set in the fastener products area. Over 40 exhibitors from Taiwan and South Korea are showing their own fastener products during this exhibition, of which most are auto fastener products and precision fastener enterprises. This provides great opportunities of communication for Chinese Mainland enterprises and visitors.

On the evening of June 16, a grand banquet, the welcome dinner of 2010 Fastener Expo Shanghai & 1st Shanghai Auto Fastener Exhibition, was grandly open in the Everbright Hotel. 650 friends all got together, including leaders from different fastener associations, exhibitor representatives and special guests, etc. In the welcome dinner, Mr. Feng Jinyao, President of China Fastener Industry Association, Mr. José Gianesi, Chairman of Brazilian Fastener Institute and Mr. Narinder Bhamra, president of Fastener Manufacturers Association of India all gave a speech for congratulation. Mr. Yang Junfeng, the CEO of www.chinafastener.com, also addressed the audience on the subject of “We can’t achieve it a success until we make our customers successful in their business.”

During the exhibition, the third Face to Face ChinaFastener Purchasing Meeting is given on the first two days, providing a communication platform for export-oriented enterprise in China and the foreign purchasers.

With the slogan of “The same time; the same place; more opportunities we will get”, the Fastener Expo Shanghai 2011 is already under preparation. “We are committed to make our exhibition one of the top three fastener expo in the world with the coming three years.” Said Mr. Yang Junfeng.
