The 14th National Industrial Fastener Show/West scheduled for November 8-10 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center reports 3, 002 persons registered as of early this afternoon. Today’s count includes 778 fastener distributors, plus hundreds of importers, manufacturers, sales reps and others. Show “Registrations continue arriving daily and we are expecting a large number of persons to register on site. We are confident there will be 4,000 or more persons at the event”, says Denise Hill, Registration Supervisor.
 
Fastener Associations Showing Strong Support
The National Fastener Distributors Association (NFDA) leads the way with 147 registrants, followed by the Pacific-West Fastener Association with 70 registrants, Southwestern Fastener Association with 34, North Coast Fastener Association with 16, New England Fastener Association with 12, Southeastern Fastener Association, Mid-Atlantic Fastener Association with 7 and the International Fastener Machinery & Suppliers Association with 3.
 
Exhibit Space Nears 700 Booths
Exhibit space sales are also running well ahead of last year. Show Manager Susan Hurley reports that there are 688 booths sold, an 11% increase from 2009. “I talk with our exhibitors and attendees on a daily basis and there is a very upbeat and positive feeling about the Show”, says Ms. Hurley.
