China Trade Remedy Information reported that South Africa's International Trade Administration Commission (ITAC) recently made an announcement, continued levying anti-dumping duties on steel/iron bolts and nuts from the People’s Republic of China after the sunset review of anti-dumping investigation. The duty rate shall be 122.7% for China’s steel/iron hexagon nuts with thread diameter of 6 mm or more but less than 36mm (Domed nuts without inserted metal, stainless steel nuts, the nuts only used for or mainly used for aircraft, and union nuts shall be exceptions); the duty rate shall be 55.4% for China’s steel/iron bolts (Stainless steel bolts, the bolts only used for or mainly used for aircraft, and the bolts made by Ningbo Jinding Piece Company Limited shall be exceptions). The involved are 7318.16 and 7318.15.
South Africa had initiated sunset revive of anti-dumping investigation on steel/iron bolts and nuts originated from China since May 2010.
