Swiss fasteners distributor Bossard plans to acquire Intrado AG (Hünenberg), which sells electrical engineering products.

Intrado AG is a subsidiary of Jacob GmbH in Kernen, Germany, and is a general importer for the Jacob GmbH cable glands program. Intrado will complement Bossard’s line of fastening components for the electrical engineering industry, as well as strengthen its expertise in a field that requires intensive consulting.

In 2012, Intrado AG had sales of CHF 3.2 million (US$3.4 million) with 10 employees.
