China’s mould industry has been developing by leaps and bounds in recent years.

According to statistics, China’s mould output grew by 46.58% year-on-year to 21.14 million sets in 2012, of which, the output in December rose by 184.70% year-on-year to 3.41 million sets.

The output of Shanxi Province’s mould ranked the first level in China, which increased by 550.11% year-on-year to 7.04 million sets, accounting for 33.32% of the totals’. It was followed by Hebei province, Jiangsu province and Guangdong province, taking up 18.83%, 9.28% and 7.75% of the totals’ respectively.

The statistics showed that the center of China’s mould industry has started to shift from the southern area to the northern area.
