On Nov. 1st, 2013, EU issued an announcement that the antidumping measures on Chinese wire rods would be expired on August 6th, 2014, and the involved parties can submit their petition for antidumping sunset review from the announcement date till three months before the expiry date.

In May 2008, EU conducted antidumping investigation on Chinese wire rods; in August 2009, EU made affirmative final ruling on this case.
