The Malaysian government has announced that it has decided to impose an antidumping duty on steel wire imports from China, effective from January 5 for five years.
The antidumping duties imposed for three Chinese exporters range between 5.93% and 8.71%, while the China-wide antidumping duty is set at 8.71%.
The product subject to antidumping duty currently fails under the H.S. code 7312.10.000.
