Taiwanese screw market continues to improve

Taiwanese screw manufactures posted sales gain in December of 2013 thanks to improving economic situation in the U.S, Europe and Russia.
It is reported that Chun Yu, the major steel wire and fastener producer said its sales revenue in December was NT$842 million, up by 28.43% compared to the previous month. The company also expected its order to grow further in January and February.
Tysoons Group also said the company has been receiving a lot of orders around the end of December in 2013. The company’s wire rod shipping volume jumped to 7,000~8,000 tons in December.
At the same time, OFCO Industrial Corp. announced its December sales revenue was NT$64.53 million, up by 30.47% from the previous month.
