April 10th, Hong Kong Screw & Fastener Council (HKSFC) held a seminar on special new wires for fasteners in Shenzhen, which is also the first seminar funded by SME Development Fund in HKSAR. There were near 100 representatives attending this seminar, for example, leaders of HKSFC, company managers of Chunyu (Dongguan) Metal Products Co., Ltd, Heng Yu Metal Products Factory Limited, Dongguan Kelee Steel Wire Co., Ltd, Lee Fung Metal Products Factory Limited, and Shenzhen Daliqiang Fastener Co., Ltd, while the representatives from www.chinafastener.com (luosi.com) were invited as special media guests.

The chairman of HKSFC indicated that the purpose of this seminar is to develop new market and advance technology for HK fastener industry, in order to meet the huge demand of fasteners. Several honored guests were invited to share their knowledge on fasteners and their experience.

First, Dr. Pan Yongcun from Sino Steel Company shared his knowledge on special wire for fasteners and interacted with the audience. And another representative Mr. Shi Zhenghong from Feng Yi Steel Co., Ltd spoke on the topic of Titanium Screws. He introduced the company’s research and results of titanium screws, as well as the patents they gained.

Based on the introduction, HKSFC will hold another 5 seminars on other different topics within this year. Through the sharing and interacting, HKSFC hoped to promote the development of the fastener industry.
