The 15th Mechanical Components & Materials Technology Expo (M-tech), sponsored by Japan’s largest trade show organizer of Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd, grandly opened at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan on June 22, 2011. M-tech would last for three days, enough time for designers, inventors, manufacturers, engineers, and procurement managers to find solutions for their businesses.

The annually held M-Tech was Japan's largest exhibition focusing on mechanical components & fabrication technology. There were over 1500 exhibitors attending this expo, which covered six exhibition halls. The concurrent exhibitions during M-tech were 22nd Design Engineer & Manufacturing Solutions Expo, 19th 3D & virtual Reality Expo and 2nd Medical Technology Expo.

ChinaFastener Magazine, being a professional fastener industry media, bound for M-tech as soon as the ending of 2011 Fastener Expo Shanghai in order to never miss any opportunity to help Chinese suppliers to expand business in Japan. The booth No. of ChinaFastener Magazine was 26 – 30.

ChinaFastener Magazine learned that there were around 50 Japanese enterprisers exhibiting fastener products while the international exhibitors for fasteners were just a few, including 5 enterprisers from Taiwan and Eagle Metalware from mainland China.

ChinaFastener Magazine also learned that the exhibitors of M-tech tended to apply new promotion measure. That was interaction with visitors. For example, one exhibitor of rivet guns let visitors to rivet different metal sheets together with rivet gun. In this way, visitors could deeply feel the riveting process.

ChinaFastener Magazine found that the exhibition halls were always crowed with visitors. Many visitors came to the booth of ChinaFastener Magazine for consulting Chinese fastener industry information, hoping ChinaFastener Magazine could recommend excellent suppliers to them.
