2011 Fastener Expo Shanghai & the 2nd Shanghai Auto Fastener Exhibition, organized by Shanghai Ebseek Exhibition Co. Ltd., was successfully held during 16-18, June in Shanghai Everbright Exhibition Center, Shanghai, China. Covering exhibiting area of 20,000 square meters, Fastener expo Shanghai displayed comprehensive products including standard fasteners, auto fasteners, fastener equipments & technology, fastener materials, fastener moulds & consumption goods, and stamping parts & lathe parts.

According to the official statistics, 2011 Fastener Expo Shanghai attracted 460 exhibitors with 784 standard booths, up 20% as compared to that of last year. To better deliver company image and culture, there were 68 exhibitors decorating their booths in special design. The exhibitors are not only from Mainland China but also from Hongkong, Taiwan, Italy, USA, Germany, Russia, Japan and South Korea. Worth to mention that, Taiwan Fastener Word and Korea Federation of Fasteners Industry Cooperative continued to gather exhibitors groups respectively for 2011 fastener expo Shanghai. Korea Pavilion and Taiwan Pavilion were one of the special features of the exhibition. “It is no wonder that Fastener Expo Shanghai is regarded as the most professional fastener exhibition in Asia”, says Mr. Wang, show manager of Fastener Expo Shanghai.

2011 Fastener Expo Shanghai attracted nearly 13000 visitors in total, from 36 countries, including the United States, Mexico, Germany, Turkey, Russia, France, Spain, Panama, Yemen, Brazil, Egypt, South Africa, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, India, Iran, Vietnam, Indonesia, Ecuador, Sweden, the UAE, Afghanistan, Comoros, Pakistan, Israel, Ghana, Seychelles, Greece, Sri Lanka etc..

The 4th Face to Face ChinaFastener Purchasing Meeting

In order to facilitate international purchasers to find suitable suppliers and help Chinese fastener manufacturers to explore international market without stepping out of China, the 4th Face to Face Purchasing Meeting was held in the first day of exhibition. The organizer help the international purchasers match suitable Chinese suppliers in Advance according to their demand and create a face to face discussion platform for the two parties during the purchasing meeting.10 overseas purchasers and 20 excellent Chinese suppliers join this program.

Plant Tour

Plant Tour to Shanghai Prime Machinery Co., Ltd and Pengchi Metalware Co., Ltd was held on the 18th, June, the last day of 2011 Fastener Expo Shanghai, attracting near40 people, 20 of which were foreign purchasers from Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran, India, Latvia and Switzerland. Most of foreign visitors in the group expressed that it was an helpful trip to step into Chinese Fastener Industry； Exhibition and plant tour together is the perfect way to explore Chinese Fastener industry.

Welcome dinner for experts from different fastener associations

The welcome dinner was held on the evening of 16, June. About 70 experts from different fastener associations at home and abroad and some famous enterprises were invited to the welcome dinner. There were 15 domestic fastener associations attending 2011 Fastener Expo Shanghai. In addition, Mr. Jim Barker, President of British Association of Fastener Distributors and Mr. Best Han, secretary general of Korea Federation of Fastener Industry Cooperative participated in the exhibition. They took this chance to communicate and share experience in fastener industry, hoping to have more cooperation chance in near future.

Auto Fasteners, a new trend in fastener industry

Auto fastener secession was one special feature of 2011 Fastener Expo Shanghai. The auto fastener industry had grown by leaps and bounds in recent years and indicated tremendous business opportunities. It was estimated that the sales amount of global auto fasteners would reach as high as 12.2 billion dollars by 2012 due to the more and more sophisticated design of auto, the demand of decreasing cost and auto recall.

Taking the chance of 2011 Fastener Expo Shanghai, the secession of Shanghai Auto Fastener Exhibition was organized to provide a great platform for manufacturers to show new products and techniques, for purchasers to seek suitable suppliers, for technology inventors and equipment experts to learn latest market demand and trends. There were 83 auto fastener exhibitors this year.
