The World Trade Organization (WTO) released a statement on 15th July 2011 in Geneva that the European Union (EU) was illegally taxing steel fasteners originated from China. With the hope of further exploring international market, expanding export volume and being encouraged by the news on July 15th, more and more enterprises announce they are going to attend Fastener Expo Jiaxing.
The statistics of organization committee shows that until August 8th there are 53 enterprises like Zhejiang New Oriental, Haiyan Chnstar, Jiaxing Xinyue Standard Part, Wenzhou Fengding etc. reserve nearly 70 booths in total and 119 foreign visitors register online for participating in Fastener Expo Jiaxing.
“China wins a victory on the trading dispute between EU and China; with this encouraging news, we can estimate the number of visitors from every sector of fastener industry will come to 5,000; among of that, about 500 purchasers are from oversea”, said Mr. Wang Y.B., show manager of organization committee, “worth to mention that STF, one largest distributor of stainless steel and brass fasteners in Europe, replied in email that they would probably visit Fastener Expo Jiaxing and want to make contact with exhibitors before exhibition.”
Fastener Expo Jiaxing will be held on Oct 14th to 15th, 2011 at Jiaxing International Exhibition Center, Jiaxing. It is well-know for production base of fasteners in China, gathering more than 2,000 fastener manufacturers. During the exhibition, free shuttle bus from Shanghai to Jiaxing will be available every day. Online registration for hotels will be realized by the end of August on www.FastenerExpo.cn to facilitate visitors choosing hotels and commanding the transportation route from hotel to exhibition hall.
