On May 6^th, Ministry of Information and Industry Technology published two industrial criteria—Heat Treatment Industrial Criteria and High Strength Fastener Industrial Criteria.

Based on the published documents, the annual productive capacity of the newly-founded or the re-expanded heat treatment enterprises should be equal to or over 10 million CNY.

And the newly founded or re-expanded fastener enterprises should pass three acceptance inspections. They are Approval of Environmental Impact Assessment on Construction Project, the Pre-assessment of Occupational Health and Safety, and the Project Environmental Protection and Occupational Health and Safety Safeguards.

And these two industrial criteria will be implemented in mainland China. Heat treatment enterprises and high strength fastener enterprises in HK, Macau, and Taiwan will not be taken into consideration.
