In Jiaxing Port Area, some of the traditional manufacturing enterprises and labor-intensive enterprises have already proceeded the progress of transformation & upgrading, replacing their human employees with machines and robots.

By the end of last year, the triennium special project of “Robot to Replace Human” has been progressed into the endgame. During the years of 2013 to 2015, the project has brought quite a substantial achievement. The investment on technical transformation involved a value of 209.55 Billion CNY for 4,839 projects. By the end of 2015, the lay-off of workers in the industrial enterprises above designated scale reached approximately 0.23 Million.

In 2016, the project “Robot to Replace Human” will be further proceeded with a primitive plan of investing 50 Billion CNY for the cultivation of 50 pilot projects in 5 demonstrated industries or areas.
