With the adjustment of industry pattern and development of global fasteners, China has become the largest production and export base of fasteners in the world. However, the export of Chinese fasteners is greatly affected by the financial crisis in 2008, the antidumping and countervailing policies on fasteners implemented by various countries, as well as the strong and strong exchange rate of RMB.

Industrial cluster of Jiaxing, Ningbo, Wenzhou in Zhejiang are the main export areas of fasteners in China. The 2010 export value of fasteners in Jiaxing had reached USD $ 779.95 million, taking up 48.67% export amount of fasteners in the whole Zhejiang province, which also accounted for 25% export amount of fasteners in China. Hence, in order to better promote the transformation and upgrading of fasteners industry, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), Commerce Department of Zhejiang, and the Jiaxing people’s government will jointly hold the first 2011 Fastener Expo Jiaxing on 14th to 15th October, 2011 at Jiaxing International Convention & Exhibition Center.

Fastener Expo Jiaxing will cover a wide range of standard fasteners, industry fasteners, fastener equipments, fastener raw materials, fastener moulds and consumption goods, as well as fastener technologies and services. It is estimated by organization committee that there will be 400 booths sold to around 250 exhibitors.

The concurrent programs of the 5th China Fastener Summit (CFS) and Plant Tour will be held together during exhibition. The CFS has been enjoying a high praise among the Asian countries of Mainland China, Taiwan, Hongkong, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan and the South Korea in fastener industry.

Jiaxing in mainland China is like kaohsiung in Taiwan, owing the high concentration of fasteners production bases. It is learned that there are as many as 2000 fastener manufacturers in Jiaxing. Jiaxing is also the closest city to Shanghai and it will be your ideal place for fastener trading and investment with its beautiful environment and convenient transportation.
